Modular Central Chillers

Temperature Corporation designs modular central chillers and central chilling systems for the process cooling industry. A central chilling system is a self-contained chilling system with more than one unit, with more than one or more compressors, but with no pump tank set. In large injection molding plants cooling tower systems may be purchased at the same time as the chilling system.

Our central chillers come in four different configurations: water cooled, indoor and outdoor air cooled and remote air cooled chillers. The new modular chillers offer a system that can be expanded, take up minimal plant floor space and can be removed for service without shutting down the rest of the chiller system.

1. Water Cooled:
There are two water cooled central chillers to choose from: our new modular chillers WODZ scroll compressors and W0SS rotary screw and SRW and DRW reciprocating compressors. All three feature single and dual refrigeration circuits and a smart microprocessor. Both offer the following options:

1. Three different types of refrigeration compressors to choose from.
2. Three different types of freon, 22, 134a and 407C.
3. Temperature range from 10 F (-12 C) to 70 F (21 C).
4. All packaged chillers are factory tested and shipped with a full charge of Freon 22.

2. Indoor Air Cooled:
There are two indoor air cooled central chillers to choose from: the SRHR reciprocating compressor and MSHR scroll compressor series. They feature single and dual refrigeration circuits, centrifugal blowers and stainless steel brazed plate evaporator(s).

3. Outdoor Air Cooled:
There are two outdoor air cooled central chillers to consider: the SRA and DRA reciprocating compressors, SZA and DZA scroll compressors, and RSA series. All three feature single and dual refrigeration circuits, fan cycling, fan speed control or dampers for head pressure control during the winter months and a smart microprocessor.

4. Remote Air Cooled:
Finally, there are three remote air cooled central chillers to choose from: the SRRC reciprocating compressors, SZRC scroll compressors, and RSRC rotary screw compressor series. All three feature single and dual refrigeration circuits, fan cycling, fan speed control or dampers for head pressure control during the winter months and a smart microprocessor.
