Dual Series ACP - 10 to ACP - 30

Temperature Corporation manufactures the Dual Series of chillers from ACP - 10 to ACP - 30. Our dual series of portable chillers can be moved from one piece of process equipment to another using casters. With two compressors, the dual portable chiller is a larger model that offers large capacity cooling of 10 tons to a maximum of 30 tons at 50 F leaving water temperature at 95 F plant air temperature. Temperature range is from 20 F to 60 F leaving water temperature.

Our evaporator is not located in the holding tank. We have no holes through our tank for bolts which can cause the tank to leak.
Non-rusting water piping.
Specially designed and oversize evaporators mean our compressors last longer and operate at higher than normal efficiencies.
Larger units with semi-hermetic compressors and centrifugal blower air cooled condensers for ducting the hot discharge air of the plant in summer or back in the plant during the winter.
Stand models above available in an all weather outdoor design with single or double pump configuration, fan cycling and speed control for head pressure control during the winter months

Main Features

COMPRESSOR
The dual portable chiller comes with dual 5 hp up to dual 15 hp scroll compressors with dual refrigeration circuits each with hot gas by-pass for four (4) steps capacity control, 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and off.

EVAPORATOR
The evaporator for the dual portable chiller features two (2) stainless steel brazed plate chiller vessels each insulated outside with isolation valves and unions for individual evaporator removal for service, outlet freeze thermostat, water flow switch and a common return line bronze "Y".

CONDENSER
The 10 to 30 ton condenser is an indoor air cooled dual circuit condenser with copper tube and aluminum fins with two (2) top discharge propeller fans direct coupled to the fan motors.

TANK
The tank for the dual model is a 16 gauge stainless steel welded tank complete with ˝" armaflex insulated tank, an 1 Ľ" clear plastic water level - fill tube with vent cap, side bottom drain with shut-off valve and a return line shutoff valve. Tank capacity ranges from 15 gallons to 90 gallons.

PUMP
The dual model comes with a stainless steel pump up to a 5 hp close coupled to a 3500 rpm ODP motor and cast iron pump with bronze impeller 7.5 hp and up, pumps complete with non-ferrous piping with a bronze suction shutoff valve, suction hose for pump removal, a discharge PVC sch. 80 piping and pump discharge pressure gauge with shutoff valve. TEFC motors, discharge pressure operated water by-pass valve and dual pumps are optional.

CONTROLS
The controls for the dual consist of a two (2) or four (4) stage solid state digital temperature controller with adjustable set points, refrigeration high and low pressure safeties, run and fail lights and compressor and fan motors internal thermal overload protection in winding.

FREEZE PROTECTION
The dual chiller uses both a flow switch and a freeze thermostat.

COMPONENTRY
Other notable components for each circuit include a refrigeration expansion valve, sight glass moisture indicator, filter dryer, pressure relief valve, liquid line solenoid with shutoff valve, a hot gas solenoid with shutoff valve and a compressor crankcase heater.

FRAME SIZE
Chiller base frame is fabricated from 12 ga. stainless steel welded with 5" casters: two swivel, two rigid.

VOLTAGE
All models 230/460/575V, 3 phase, 60 hertz, 380V, 3 phase, 50 hertz.
